As a Mechanical Test Engineer, you will bring mechanical, structural, and thermal testing knowledge to Google's design and test team. You will provide support to the Platforms organization, assisting engineers on product development (e.g., testing, setup, troubleshooting, and analyzing problems) of prototype systems under development. In this role, you will utilize equipment such as shaker tables, accelerated life testing, drop towers, and simple automation scripts. You will also be writing and executing test plans, coordinating allocation of resources, ensuring that test equipment is calibrated, and that the lab is a safe environment to work in.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
